My 71 1800 e starts, and dies after 2-3 seconds. I checked the fuel pressure, and it is correct. The cold start value inject fuel for a could of seconds.
I pulled the fuel injectors, and they are not operating - there is no fuel spray.
Both the air temp sensor, and the water temp show the correct OHM readings
What should I check next - it this a distributor, of MAP sensor issue?

One possibility is poor connections or corrosion at the trigger points. The gap there is not important - but good connections are. Test them at the three wire connection with an ohmeter (wire harness disconnected, crank the engine). They may need to be removed to dress the points. -- Dave
