that's a Bertone

262C differed from the rest of the 260 series in that it had a lowered roof that made the car about 10 cm lower. The first years it had a vinyl roof. The model was considerably more expensive than any other Volvo models in its time and only 6622 cars were produced

The lower roof means that I cannot sit in it. It's in decent shape for a 78 with a 4 speed, if the critters haven't moved in and set up house.

It's been deleted as of now. But, those early V6 engines were awful. Doesn't mean you couldn't get a donor 940 turbo and move all the stuff to the Bertone, but that's a ton of work.

Klaus,

You are a Volvoholic. If your garage is full, why are you scouring craigslist for old Volvos ? Buy it. It will be more fun than your MB Roadhog and probably cheaper than a bent wheel on that thing.

Too bad it is a 6 cylinder.
