In my collection of parts I have an AMM for a 240 series car that has bee rebuilt by Fuel Injection Corp. They removed the black cover that has the Bosch part number and replaced it with one that helpfully says Fuel Injection Corp. There is also a sticker that says Remanufactured by FIC 124645.

Is there anyway to tell what car this AMM fits ?
Is there any chance that it damage anything if I plug it into my car and try it ?

This really doesn't help, but I have a similar PNP AMM from FIC with internal FIC number of 157242. The Bosch black top on this one is intact and it's an 016 designation.

If it is indeed a 240 part rebuilt from the original Bosch:

LH1.0 cars have AMMs with metal bodies I guess, I've never seen one.
LH2.0 cars also have AMMs with meal bodies, 6 pins, and an adjustment.
LH2.2 cars: 6 pins and an adjustment, plastic body.
LH2.4 cars: 5 pins and no adjustment, plastic body.
LH3.1 cars: 4 pins, no adjustment, plastic body.

This meter has six pins and no adjuster so maybe FIC replaced more than the cover. If six pins was the defining characteristic, it might fit my '87.

I'm sorry Greg. I led you astray. The LH2.4 AMM itself (what you asked about) has all six pins, but the socket side (on the car) only has 5. The missing pin is for the adjustment that went away after LH2.2 or after 1988. I'm afraid it will not work right in your 87.
