So my rack started leaking randomly from the drivers side where the toothed bar runs in and out.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

There's a large white seal on the passenger side, but not on the DS.

Can the seal thats leaking be replaced? Seems like it's just run its course and you can now hear air passing though when turning the wheels while on jack stands.

Once the seals on the rack start leaking it is time for a rebuilt unit. Jorgens is a well respected vendor of these.

Yeah, that seems to be the word on it.

I'll have to call and see what they want for it.

Rock Auto has them for $109 with a $150 core charge from Cardone.

cardone's rep in the business has fallen over the years. amongst the service business it's car-is-done. i won't put a cardone part on a bicycle nowdays. stick with jorgens. good luck, chuck.
