Parts needs?? 200 1989

Several people asked about possible parts from my crashed 89 245.

I need to settle things with the insurance company and move on. Please let me know your needs to I can decide whether to keep and part the car before sending it to the crusher, or just let it go.

Thanks

Zimm

    To avoid the trouble of stripping the car yourself, you could have a "yard sale" where people in the area stop by and pick through. Have a car cover handy.

    I'm up in Carroll Co, so as we know the weather has been not conducive to travel. supposed to melt later next week.

    if you are indeed on Kent and are looking to part out I'd come over to the other side. Driver seat, trim parts....should I bring a truck ...lol

    If it needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced on a 1990 240, I've probably done it. '90 240DL, 351,107 miles, will she make it to 400K ?? >>You haven't really worked on a car until you draw blood<< :-}

    Just sent you an email through BB's system, but I don't always trust it to work so I'm posting here as well. Your profile says you're in MD, and I am as well, so maybe we can meet in person and I can see if there's anything I need off the car?

    You'd do better to post on the Turbobricks "For Sale" section. Lots more activity there, more traffic, and more people cobbling together projects.

    I hope you don't let the insurance company take it. If you've got the room, and time, save every relay, motor, interior plastic bit, switch, computer, seat, and even the nuts and bolts and brackets that held everything together. Then sell what you don't need for more money than the insurance company would have given, plus the satisfaction of keeping parts out of the crusher.

    Good luck,
    Sean
