Turbo bypass hose ( I think) 700 1989

1989 740 turbo bypass hose needs to be replaced. The one that plugs into the back of the blowoff valve. I can't seem to find any description or even a good picture/drawing of it.

Can I just use a good quality radiator hose? Does anyone know the proper size and material?

Also, does anyone know where to find clips for the air filter box?

stock 89 740 turbo did not have a blowoff valve, so there's a difficulty right there. Do you have a pic of your setup? Can you describe more about this component? The only hoses to/from the turbo are the one from airbox, the one to intercooler, and the small vacuum line for the bypass valve, which I think that car has.

Clips, afaik, are found at the JY on a good airbox. I have only seen one complete airbox with all its clips, in 10 years and owning 4 of them.

I tried posting a pic. Hopefully I did it right.

I'm a little rusty on nomenclature. But, ya, its a compressor bypass valve inlet hose, I guess. So, where do you get a new one? Or, at least, what is the spec for an aftermarket part?

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to improvise on the air box clamps. No problem.

Don't know the specs, just pull it and take it down to local parts store. Any heater hose will work. All it has to do is seal air and withstand heat.

Is that stock? I don't recall ever seeing that on a stock setup, but I am not completely familiar with models before 90.

I got the hose. Probably paid more than I should have at $18 but was glad to get it since it had all the markings of being legit. Got it from Bap-Geon just a couple of miles from the house here. I didn't want to press the guy too much about where he found it but I think it came from Australia.

I must say that I'm pretty fortunate to have a Bap-Geon store near me since there are only a few nationwide. They can almost always track down that certain special part for my brick that other auto parts stores can't.
