H4 set up 444-544 1967

Hi, my carbs are running very rich so I have decided to replace the float forks and needle valves. Will I need to reset the float level or will the new forks and needles have the correct profile of the shelf? Thanks.

I'm not an SU expert by any means, but if you're replacing the float forks and needle valves, I would essentially treat this as a "rebuild" and follow the steps for putting it back together and the required calibration/initial setup.

There's a ton of documentation for this online to act as your guide.

AFAIK you'll almost certainly need to reset the float levels.
