245 Tailgate Wiring Harness (Driver Side) -- Where are Connections in Liftgate??

Ok folks, it has been a few years since I replaced the driver side tailgate harness on my 1993 245. Here's where I've lost my mind. I can only find one of the three connections inside the liftgate (the one for the blue wire)? I have looked all over but cannot find the connections for the other two connections?? Admittedly I was in a bit of a rush due to the 5 degree temp when I pulled the old one out. I cannot remember when the male and female spade connectors are inside the tailgate? Are they along the window for the defroster circuit? Anybody out there with a better memory than me? Many thx. Rob

    Ok, I'm an idiot. I finally took a look while it was warm and realized I plugged two of the wires coming from the car together -- the two grey ones. Stupid. I'm good to go now.

    I have a 91 240 wagon and the connections are through the hinges..on top..unfortunate design flaw...good luck.

    If everything works, it might be for the heated rear window.

    In our '89 wagon, two of the wires in the four-wire cable are used for the hot side of the defroster grid. They are in parallel, so if only one is being used, the grid will still work, but, it will work just a little better if both wires are used.

      Thank you Art. I just can't seem to find the corresponding male and female ends for the new wires to plug into? I've lost my mind. Either I yanked them by accident or the receiving ends are mounted somewhere way up in that tailgate that I can't find. Perhaps when the weather in Baltimore/Washington area warms up a bit.... Best!
