M46/M47 transmission 200

Has anyone disassembled an M46 or M47 transmission? Or has anyone used a shop that has done major repairs for them? If so, I would like to correspond with you please.

i have no experience with the 46 box but do with the 47.

imo you are wasting your time and money trying to rebuild your 47 box if it is worn out.

the spare parts are in some cases very expensive. it is more cost effective to find a decent used box.

‘‘you are wasting your time and money trying to rebuild your 47 box if it is worn out.’’ Wrong. The bearings are easily serviceable if you have the tools and take your time. You can order NEWER BETTER bearings than were used originally directly from an SKF supplier for about 20 dollars each.
