I converted my two cars (both 93's) from USA-DOT plastics to glass Euroheadlights (one the lousy DJAuto brand, the other the terrific Cibie/Volvo brand) -- I am using these as a reference for comparison to the provided image of the eBay item you cited.
Nevertheless, I'm pretty confident that the eBay lens is not suitable either for the Euroheadlights that are on my cars, nor for replacing the plastic lenses on your USA-DOT headlights. Not only do the part numbers on the lens not correspond to anything on my own lenses, but the shape is somewhat different as well.
I suspect that the lens shown is for an altogether different headlight, not to mention that the seller has grossly overstated the model year range, probably out of ignorance. First, there were no 240's in 1974, and Volvo drastically changed the fenders, etc., in their 240's in the mid-'80's ensuring the earlier headlights won't fit the later model year cars -- a more realistic range would be 1975 to 1985 or something like that (but again, it's only my guess). I don't believe that lens is good up to '93 (or '92, in your particular case).
I recall that there were two versions of Euroheadlights on 240's prior to the change in the mid-'80's. One involved a headlight using a single 2-filament (hi/lo beam) halogen bulb in a large single reflector, somewhat similar to the later Euroheadlights; the other version was also a single lamp housing two separate reflectors (hi/lo) and respective separate bulbs. I suspect that the eBay lens is applicable to one of the these, most likely the former.
But for $20, you could gamble and take a chance :-). Right?
