Liftgate latch (745) does not entirely secure without exerting extra pressure at liftgate base. Need new latch. Trusted Volvo only mechanic says new ones no longer available. What other, if any models, have compatible latches? Any online used part dealers recommended? Thanks, Don

Try also Sweden Auto Warehouse and Erie Vo-Vo. I have some latch hardware in my basement but not the handle in the light bar above the license plate. That's what usually gets eroded from salt. I sold the car the latch came from so no longer have a need for it. I can post photos to Photobucket.
