Rear door will not open 200 1990

The lock won't budge either manually or via the master. Neither inside nor outside handles will make the door unlatch. Now what?

Mark

the 1 time I had to do this, I was lucky enough to have a spare door panel. the shop owner doubled as a packrat. once the owner was convinced he had to buy the spare panel, I broke the 1 on the door and unlocked it. good luck, chuck.

Another thought... Even though the door may appear fully closed, the latch might be just short of a full close. Push the door closed, and try to unlock again.

I can only give a tip on how I opened a door on a car I was not familiar with. Went to the opposite door that worked. Rolled down the window, and using a flashlight. Looked down into the mechanism area while I open/close a handle. Looking for what rod/mechanism released the door. Then bent a coat hanger and moved to the door that wouldn't open. You get the idea.
