I'm trying to order a parking light lens from lampsandlenses.com and keep running into a roadblock registering or ordering because it does not sem to want to accept a Canadian address. I emailed them 2 days ago about the problem with no response. Has anybody else had any problems purchasing from this site?

No issues on my end and I seem to have to order a corner lens every year or so. Best prices I could find. @20$ it doesn't even pay to hit the JY.

Thanks a lot guys. What a bunch of rednecks. I'm used to getting raped on shipping costs from the U.S. and quite expected the shipping to be about the same as the cost of the item itself. I guess I'll be lucky if I can get the lens from the Volvo dealer for $40, otherwise it's the junkyard.

Strange, I noticed the lens missing after returning to the car from a store. No broken pieces around. I retraced my steps to where I'd been previously and also no lens or pieces. I wonder if someone stole it?

I do have a friend in the U.S. who could do that, but after shipping twice, there's no benefit.

I have good lenses, both sides, and ship to Canada. I'm sure I could do that for less than $50 for one. I sell parts all over North America and have for years, and everyone has been happy so far. If interested,

I have found one dangling from the bulb wiring after a spirited trip home and had at least two of the outer lens parts(not whole assembly) simply fall off while driving. The glue that they use to seal the outer to the inner piece....is crap.

This one just had the lens itself missing, like it had come unstuck from the gasket. As I recall, the lens was quite crazed, so it wasn't my "good" one. For now I've gorilla taped the corner of a windshield washer fluid jug in place of the lens. My closest Volvo dealer has the complete lamp in stock for $115, but at that price, it will stay in stock, LOL! I found a lens on eBay for about $50 including shipping and a lamp on a 940 at a junkyard an hour away.

I'm glad to see that the site is not a scam, at least.

I also emailed the webmaster when I encountered a problem registering my shipping address because the U.S. was the only choice. That email bounced. I sure hope the owners of the business answer my email to sales@lampsandlenses.com so I can get my order in and get a new lens before winter sets in and the reflector and socket corrodes. (Starting to look for some clear plastic and duct tape.)

No, they are not a scam. They are a low-priced importer of just about every available Volvo lens that's currently on the market. Their product is likely the same thing you'll get at your local parts store for 2x or 3x the price.

They are a small operation, and it has sometimes taken them a while to get back to me. They should have no problem shipping to Canada but I'm not surprised if it must be done with a phone call vs an automatic order on the website.

They've always shipped quickly for me and made good on the replacement one time a part was damaged. Highly recommended, I've bought from them numerous times here in Connecticut and always been satisfied, especially with the prices.
