240 lock replacement 200

I'm replacing a door on my 240. I found out that parts are not necessarily interchangeable from an '83 to an '86. Trying to remove the door lock from the old door so keys will match. Can't seem to figure out how to remove it without damaging anything.

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure the lock can we switched out easily. There may be two screws on the outside of the door holding a metal plate on the inside which slides around the lock and holds it in position.

Thanks. I got that far, but there seemed a lot of small parts. I started putting things in where they looked like they could go. When I ran out of parts, it all worked. Go figure!
