ac switch, relay or what? 200

Hello fellow cult members,
So, my 93 240 ac switch stays lighted all the time and the ac runs all the time and I'm half lit most of the time (not really). When I unplug the ac relay the ac will stop but the ac switch light stays on. Could a bad ac relay blow the switch as well? Thank you in advance for any insight.

Hi and thanks for the response. Yup, tried that. Dang thing keeps going. The compressor will shut off when I unplug the relay but the switch light stays lit. Maybe it's a remake of "My Mother The Car." Don't know if that's way before your time or not. If so, I apologize.

Sho'nuff. Green wire near compressor was shorting on bracket. After un-fusing and rewrapping many wires from relay to switch, etc., icicles on my stache again.

First step is to get info. Go to one of these and find the diagram for your model and year. It's free. Then post it in your message so everyone can reference it in their comments.
