Heavy front sway bar on pre '65 body 120-130

I have a 1" IPD sway bar on a '67 that I was going to swap onto an earlier 122, only to find that the earlier body only has one hole for each bracket, where the later body has two.

Solutions from those of you who have come up against this would be welcome.

Drill all the way through the frame section and use a long bolt with a washer and nylock nut. I've done it a couple times and it seems to hold up just fine.
