Vacuum Brakes. 200 1990

Thanks for your advise with the water pump redo. Not even a drop came out after I put it on dry with the prescribed number of bolts.

The other day I replaced the vacuum lines which go from the throttle body to the canister (what's the third line that goes into the can?). The car runs a lot smoother! However, when I step on the brakes I hear a vacuum noise. Worse, when I take my foot OFF the brakes the RPMs plummet and the car either stalls or comes close to it!
What's the fix for that?

Thanks again.

There is a vaccum line that goes from the brake booster into the accordion intake hose. The white one way valve degrades and cracks apart. Check the hose for any tears. depress the brakes with the hood open and see if you can here where the nose is coming from.
