I just replaced the temp gauge board on my daughters 92 240 wagon with the bypass wire. When I had the cluster out I noticed a button on the bottom right corner of the front of the cluster that pushes a cable to a switch on the back of the speedometer. The button is obviously some kind of reset since it's the type of button you have to push with a skinny tool, like a PC reset. Just curious.

It is the reset for service engine light goes on every 5,000 miles .

you can use a pen to reset
