PAL fuse box

My '93 240 does not have a PAL fuse box attached to positive side of the battery. What's up with that? Are all the fuses located in the main fuse panel inside like the 91 and 92 models? I can't tell...I think maybe the info on the inside panel is from another car. There are discrepancies when compared to Bentley's. Also, there are only 8, 16, 25amp fuses...Shouldn't there be a 30 or a 60 or something for the more power needy systems (ABS, etc.) ??? just curious...

This has been mentioned before and even Art B jumped in on the discussion. It is possible that they were assembling the last of the US market cars (non-classics) out of the remaining parts bin. It is almost positive that that there are cars without the companion fuse block built in 1993.

How did they get by in '91 and '92 without them? I would suggest getting a wiring diagram for a US 1992 with ABS and see if the lines up with your fuse block locations and circuit layout. Also, search for a similar discussion beause it has potted up often enough I remember it. There seems to be and "early" and "late" production run with mostly undocumented changes between them.
