xc v70 awd should I buy a used one? how bad are they? looking at some 1998-2001's

    I have a V70 FWD that has not given me much grief. I understand the AWDs DO have
    problems though.

    If you post this question over on the All/FWD forum, you'll get more opinions based upon first hand experience.

    One thing that seems to be unanimous amongst the FWD/AWD crowd is to avoid the 2001 model year due to quirky transmissions that year.
