Hey All,

Back to work on the never ending restoration of my '65 PV. I have started on my interior - found a great supply house here in St Louis (http://www.wholesaleusastl.com) for carpet, vinyl, leather, windlace, hardware - you name it, they got it. They also have outlets in Van Nuys & Kansas City. I'll be making my own seat covers & door panels using Grandma's 1920's vintage Singer.

I've been inventorying my parts and it appears I'm missing a few items. I am in need of two black plastic trim rings that go behind the interior door handles and window cranks. Also I only have two springs that go behind the handles - believe I need four. Last thing I need is about 20 of the clips that are used to hold the door panels onto the door. I know new originals are available new but they are not worth $1.60 each to me - used are fine.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

    I have three (3) of the plastic rings (Volvo PN 663599 "Washer")
    and four (4) of the springs (Volvo PN 90453)
    Used - but intact and fully serviceable

    The Volvo clips are, other than the color, identical to Chrysler clips like these:

    If you google "chrysler door clips" you'll get a number of links. After I learned how much the Volvo pieces were, I bought the Chrysler pieces - a box of 100 for 23 cents each.

        I bought them through the local upholstery shop in SW Portland that was assembling the door panels for me a few years ago. Because I was paying for other labor, the fellow was kind enough to sell them to me at his cost. Last I drove past, the place was shuttered.

        I don't know where he sourced them, but I've seen them at our local Napa, Industrial Finishes, and a couple of the 'Old Car Parts' kinds of places around town.
