Camshaft position sensor 92 model year 900 1992

Hi, I would like to check out my cam sensor as I have a non starter with all the symptoms of a sensor failure. Do I use position 6 on the OBD and what would be the code? Don't want to spend cash on a sensor and find that it's not the culprit. Thanks.

What engine do you have? Cam sensor or crank sensor?

Thanks. 960 3ltr b6304f. Cam sensor. I know its not the crank sensor as the fuel pump and relay come on.

According to FCP'S website there is no cam sensor for a 1992 940 turbo or otherwise....

Thanks all. It is not the T model,It's the standard 960 24V non turbo. I know it has a cam sensor as it already has one changed some time ago. Its failour had similar symptoms to that which I am experiencing now. Just want to be sure before I fork out any more cash.
