Front fenders Putty or rubber seal, or both? 120-130

Hello All,

Wondering what goes between the fenders and the lip of the body? I sww ipd has putty, skandix and oth ero sites list rubber seal that looks like modern hood seal? Any ideas. Just to be clear, I'm talking about what goes under the fender bolts that mate with the body along both sides.

Thanks

Any auto body paint store that carries 3M products will have the stuff you need. I don't remember the name of the particular product but 3M makes a putty that comes in a strip meant for just such an application.

Yes, the first product is strip caulk, which is putty. The second is rubber seal stock, sold in meter lengths.

Putty between the fender and the body on the top. There is a rubber seal on the vertical joint inside the wheel well.
