Ok, it seems every 245 Ive had has trouble making a clean wipe all the way through. The top of the wipe never gets totally clean. Like there isn't enough pressure on the tip of the wiper blade. What has worked for anyone in solving this? Or is it just one of those things that a 245 owner has to put up with?

It is not just the 240 or even just Volvo. It is a pretty common issue for many hatchbacks. Two things that help are greasing the pivot for the arm and using the slightly shorter blade than spec.

Short of being able to increase the angle of attack of the arm by somehow spacing the shaft about 3/4" further away from the glass, I do not know of other improvements. I have tried greater spring tension by putting in a spacer and by binding some of the coils together...no help.
