Cam plug at rear of head question 200 1991

Not sure what he question was, Kyle. But there may be more than one answer.
Mine would be to leave the rear Cam Plug alone if it isn't leaking.
However I would make and install a retainer strap as Don Foster posted here several years ago. Any kind of light metal would do the job.
The 2 tapped holes are already there.

Cam plug at rear of head question 200 1991

Bought one for son's 93 245. Had one blow out on a previous 240 and the mess was tough to clean up. I prefer to make one as per instructions now.

          Slot an end 200 1991

You can slot one end rather than try to get the spacing for the holes exact.
