145 seats in a 122 wagon??? 120-130

The seats in the '68 wagon I'm working on are in horrible shape.
There is a 145s in a local Pick a Part and I'm wondering if the seats will fit.
I know the front seats will work with a bit of welding. How about the back seat? I want to keep the functionality. I know the hardware is different and can deal with that. I'm most interested in width, height, hinge location etc...
Anyone with experience or helpful hints?

FWIW I would probably re-upholstery the rear bench, the 145 seat won't fit and the rear 220 bench is pretty simple, so a re-up should be fairly straightforward.

Fronts, doable. Watch out for the handbrake lever.

Rear seat? Nah... totally different system and seat shape and size. You'd be just as well off trying to wrangle in seats from a Chevy Malibu, or and extended cap Ford Ranger.

But why?

Why not fix the ones you have, or get other proper Amazon seats to install?

Skipping the hackjob must be worth something to you? (your time??)

I'm asking because I want to avoid a hack job.
I've seen 140 seats in Amazons and the owners consider it an upgrade.
Also money is a factor. The set in the junk yard is quite nice, recently redone in fabric. Total cost front and rear about $145.
In contrast, just the seat covers from VP will run over $1100. not counting shipping and any taxes or duties.

You can make adaptors to fit them into the front but they are bigger and will be tight.
I would NOT weld them but just make and adaptor out of steel flat.
I think the back seat is going to be too big.
