Heater function 900

I have a 1993 945. Is there a quick fix to balance the heat between driver and passenger? Driver's side is hot while the passenger side floor heat is non-existant.

    Dear wndsrfer,

Hope you're well. If no heat reaches the passenger-side floor vent, it could mean that the servo (a rubber bellows) - which moves a "door" in the system to allow air to pass - has failed. It is also possible that the vacuum line to that servo has been disconnected, cut, or has somehow split.

Has any work recently been done under the dashboard, e.g., a radio upgrade, heater core replacement, etc.? I ask, because the doing of such work can sometimes result in things being moved "out of the way", and so to impacts not wanted or expected.

    Hope this helps.

    Yours faithfully,

    Spook
