greetings all-
I have misplaced most of the small screws that hold the front door speaker grilles in place to my front door panel. Perhaps they're hiding in my garage somewhere but I'm not too hopeful as I have long drawn out speaker replacement project still underway. I went looking for some replacement screws at Lowe's but they didn't have exact type (made to screw into plastic rather than metal.) They did have a close match I might use but would anyone have suggestion where I might find a closer match / replacement screws?

    I would think any shet metal screw would do the job. Just get the right length and width.

      The ones I found seem right diameter but have pointy end whereas the original ones have a blunt end to them. I'm just a little nervous about cracking the plastic bracket mount with them if I put them in too far so I might try filing down the end a little too to be safe.

        File the ends flat if you like then turn the screw counter clockwise until you feel the screw drop into the Threads of the plastic cover. By doing this you are not trying to cut new threads into the plastic.

        Shorter is better than too long and cracking the cover.
