1989 volvo 245dl car was no brake lights except center light which works on all situations. I have checked the fuse and both tail light bulbs and they look ok, even changed out bulb and cleaned bulb holder still no brake lights.

Have someone step on the brake pedal while you wiggle the connectors that mate the wiring harness to the light assembly on each side. Also check that the grounds for both sides are intact.
