Dunno about no 740, but here's what it looked like on a 92 940. Under the pressure tester.

While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.

Thanks. I don't have anything near that big, I'm going to assume I don't have ABS.

How to identify ABS 700 1991

I know there are photos somewhere here on the BB--but you can open your hood and see if there's a unit that is a good sized aluminum block with a number of metal brake lines going to/from it. It will be on the driver's side (left side of car) in the engine compartment. -- Dave

How to identify ABS - 740 have an ABS light on dash? 700 1991

I see a metal block under the brake booster that lines go into that is about 2"-3" by 2"-3" inches. Is that it? When I turn ignition to "on", I don't see any ABS light. Does the 740 have this? If it does I must not have ABS. Also, when you say "good sized aluminum block" about what size is this? Thanks.
