Will '99 S70 rims fit on an '88 740 700 1988

I've got a question: Will 15 inch rims that were on a '99 S70 fit on an '88 740? Without modification or spacers?

Thanks for any help and information.

    Will '99 S70 rims fit on an '88 740 700 1988

I once put 96 850 Turbo wheels on an old (87?) Audi 5000... I know that doesn't help you at all, but I thought it was funny. Made the car look 1000 dollars better. : )

    ANSWER Will '99 S70 rims fit on an '88 740 700 1988

To expand slightly on Mike's answer:

94 and earlier 960 wheels have the RWD offset. 95 and later 960 wheels, plus every 850 and S/C/V series car have the FWD offset.

If you're looking to class up your 240, look for a set of alloys off a 740, 940, or early 960--lots of choices out there.

    Best,
    Afton
