Can anyone post the location of the Front Intermittent Relay? Like a picture of it?... I'd just like to know if I have to take off pieces of the interior to get at it, or pull on a slew of wires for some reason.

    I've never had to service/change one on an '89 but on the earlier cars---remove the left side footwell outer cover--peel back the carpeting in the corner--lift out the steel plate (maybe held with a sheetmetal screw) covering the relay. -- Dave

      Ok, that's what I was wondering... Sounds like the usual "tear it down, put it back properly" interior deal. I only folded back the carpet and looked there, saw the plate and stopped. I had a feeling it took a couple more steps, and it would be there, but I was also anticipating that I got the wrong part off of eBay.. Good to know, thanks.
