I've found several lists of Volvo paint codes, but can't do the same for upholstery codes, at least for the 140 series. Anyone know where this can be found?

Been a long time, but thought I'd follow up.
The interior code on the ID plate is 838-745.
I didn't see it turn up on that list anywhere.

There's a dead local 145 that I'm considering for a restoration project, and I can tell for certain it's been painted a new color, but can't figure out if the interior upholstery is original or not. I'm trying to decide where I'll go with the project (should I take it on) i.e., restore to original specs, or as it sits, or something entirely different.

If you can describe the year and color, maybe someone here can help you identify it.

I don't have the upholstery code with me at the moment, but the color code on the ID plate is 96 'Pacific Blue'. The car itself is currently a faded red on the outside with black vinyl/leather interior (seats/panels, etc.).

In Swedish, but color-coded, so you don't even have to translate most of them.

The only "list" I know of is contained in the parts catalog and it's not really a list... you have to dig it out of pages of part numbers associated with upholstery codes. I've done this before, it doesn't take that long. Give me the ident plate upholstery code number (e.g. 845-771) and I can give you the basic color as described in the parts catalog, which I have on CD. It would also be helpful to know the model year of the 145 in question.

Code 96, I know it well. I sit my butt on it every day in my '70 (with dark blue exterior).
I don't think red exterior ever came with a blue interior.
