3rd row seat clip geometry? 200

I've got a third row seat for my wagon but I cannot use it because I am missing the two u-shaped clips that the upper back portion latches on to when folded into the upright position.

The clips as I call them are not part of the third row seat, they get attached to the back of the second row seats with two Phillips screws. There are two clips total.

I can't find these things anywhere so I would like to fabricate them myself, can anyone give me the dimensions?

Thanks!

Thats odd. Are you sure they are part of the third seat? I have removed a lot of these seats and know the clips you describe, but they are used for the dog grate latches and I always thought thats why they are there in 245s. I am not aware of any corresponding hook or anchor on the third seat that would fit the hook. I can't see anything at Art's site either http://cleanflametrap.com/thirdseat.html
other than one illustration for the hinged dog grate bracket. Having said that, I could be wrong, but it sure would surprise me.

No, they are NOT part of the 3rd seat but the 3rd seat hooks on to them.

There is that chrome bar that goes across the back of the 3rd seat and it has the two latches on it. Those latches latch onto these "clips" and you are correct, they are not shown anywhere in those instructions.

The only reason I know about them is the 3rd row seat that was in my '93 attached to them, they are on the back of the 2nd row. Without them, you can fold the seat down without disengaging the latch, or the seat could fold itself down in an accident.
