Bulb failure light 200 1993

My yellow "Bulb Failure Light" came on . I checked every single light and found no failures. Could this be false indication?

I might add to Tony's post that if you use the same brand bulbs from end to end or side to side the current draws will be better matched and keep the light out.

yes and no. This Bulb failure indicator Light will light up if the currents between Drivers side bulb and passenger side bulb is not equal. Usually that will happen when a bulb is burned out. IF the connection is ran a bulb, it may still light but will draw more current so you get a false Dashboard indicator.

The rear tail lights are usually your suspect.. Pull the bulbs and lightly sand the brass for a better ground connection. I have had much better luck buying teh bulbs with the Silver colored housings.
