Pads & Calipers 700 1987

HI folks here is probaley a dumb question
Will your brakes work with the wrong pads and calipers bendix with girling or visa versa? Also how you tell if you have warped rotors?

    Only the correct pads will fit. If you order on-line, take a good look look at the images to be sure you get the right ones, not just the Girling or Bendix. I had the get the ABS pads from FCP Groton even though I don't have ABS because they appeared to be described incorrectly.

    As for warping rotors, it's said that torquing the nuts too tight will do that. At least I think that's what happened to mine because I torqued them to 100 lb-ft, same as my Camaro before finding out it should be 66 lb-ft. However, they also say pulsing brakes are not from warped rotors but overheated spots on the rotors. Cracked rotors certainly pulse.
