Spark plug Question 900 1992

I just installed a set of Volvo spark plugs in my 960 part 8642661
They have three points going to the center electrode are these long life plugs or are they to be replaced every 40,000km.

Spark plug Question 900 1992

If they are Volvo plugs, I would follow the time or mileage cited in your maintenence book.

If for some reason they are long life plugs they should be removed and inspected every couple of years, then properly reinstalled (new washers?).

Click and Clack said - If you leave plugs in for 100k they might as well be lifetime plugs because they are NEVER coming out.

Spark plug Question 900 1992

Do we use an anti-seize? Like a high temp nickel anti-seize on the spark plug thread in that light alloy aluminum thread?

Probably not? Just wondering.
