Passed Inspection 900 1994

Just some good news. Leigh's 945T passed the Memphis smog inspection again. I haven't done anything in the way of a tune up since last year (15,000 miles ago). Still has the same air filter, plugs, wires, etc.

None of the tailpipe readings even registered. 0.0% across the board, just like last year.

I may be trading up from my 855T to a 900 series this year. Can hardly keep up with the maintenance issues on the 855T. Dont' have that free time anymore.

Cheers,

Erwin

Yep, when they had a tailpipe check here some years back, I would get 0 from the then not that old 945 and my newer VW. Always figured the system was rigged to pass all but the most flagrant violators or just not that sensitive (which doesn't make sense). Only trouble I ever had with it was when they started checking for NOX and my old 245 with it's free flow cat had some troubles. The 0 really does make me wonder.

One of my cars has EGR, the others don't. That one recently passed CA smog with Very low numbers, but not 0%. 31 NOX. My others are up in the 400-500 range.
