Thanks

I have been around this website for years and just wanted to thank the crowd. I try to do some basic stuff myself and yesterday got stuck trying to figure the best way to drain the 940 turbo's antifreeze. Couldn't easily remove the lower radiator hose plus realized what a mess it would make even if I could get it off. So I came inside, check the FAQs and saw that the turbo has that handy plug behind the oil filter. It took me about 5 minutes to get the info. You guys saved me from making it much harder than it is. THANKS.

While you were down there did you check the condition of the two small hoses associated with the oil cooler? These get covered with oil during oil changes and have a fairly high rate of failure due to deterioration.

If you do not have a low coolant sensor it is an easy way to experience overheating and headgasket failure with the chance of a warped head- all best avoided if possible.
