Does anyone have a source for new proper screws for SU HS6 suction chamber and float chamber lid? (Previous owner didn't know how to use a screwdriver?)

I could also use new float chamber lid gaskets.

Don't need entire SU rebuld kit.

    Hello,

    Float bowl cover gaskets are available and we keep them in stock.

    I am pretty sure new screws are available, but we don't stock them because we have good used ones when needed.

    Do you have the all lock washers for the float bowl covers?

    Believe it or not, I have never found a proper looking substitute for the lock washers.

    All the ones at the hardware store are too big.

    So I have to scrounge for good used ones when customers carburetors don't have them.

      I'll order some float bowl gaskets and other bits.
      Yes, all 6 float bowl cover lock washers are intact, the original thick ones.
      It's the screws with proper heads I would like to replace. Just because.

      Appears someone didn't use proper size screw driver and it slipped.

      What do you put on gaskets - intake manifold to head/heat shield and carb to manifold (glue, light grease, nothing, etc)?
