Is an OEM Coolant Reservoir for a 745 worth the money? Or doesn't it matter that much. It would be nice to save a little cash. Thanks.

    If I was you,I would consider the following:

    *)Age and mileage of vehicle

    *)Intentions to maintain,preserve and restore vehicle.

    *)Availiable funds,

    Around 60,000 miles ago,I bought an aftermarket expansion tank from FCP for about 20 bucks.I've had no problems with it.(The OEM was $54 bucks.)

    The worst part for me,was the repugnance of installing a Chinese part in my Swedish car.

    I doubt the cheaper one would ever fail,but, if it did, you could just buy another one and break even(?)
