Transmission crossmember question 200 1986

I'm going to transplant a M46 into my '86 240 auto soon. I have all the parts except for the pedal box and trans crossmember. I looked up the part on eEuroparts.com and it showed part #1221954 will fit '76-'93 240 with manual trans and '76-'85 with auto trans. Does it sound like I could just use my crossmember I presently have on my '86 auto with the correct round transmission mount with the new M46 setup? Otherwise, I'll have to go digging for a correct trans crossmember...... Thanks.

Transmission crossmember question 200 1986

VFH is correct, the transmission crossmember is the same for both, they just bolt into a different set of holes in the floorboard, dig out the undercoating on the floorboards to find them. Yes, you will have to change the trans mount.
