tower to tower brace 200 1989

I posted this much earlier, no results yet, so once again:

I am looking for the brace that goes tower to tower, top of the struts (NOT tower to firewall) under the hood. If anyone has one for a 245DL '89 wagon, that they would sell, please email me at: a_tony_usa@yahoo.com

IPD is no longer selling them altho they did say they are trying to find another supplier. Ive checked out some leads, even Ebay, but no luck so far. Ebay did have one that was adjustable, but it looked "hinky" .

Thanks.

Either go on the Ultra Racing website or go to eBay and check out Ultra's model UR-TW2-232 strut bar. $128 with free shipping. It's a nice unit, well built. I've seen them installed on other 240s and, frankly, I was impressed....especially for the cost.

They look OK but Im a bit- hmm-"bothered" if thats the right word- that they fasten on only 2 points on each side. Id like to get one that fastens on 3 points like IPDs' used to, when they had it. . I think it would be less bound to slip on the adjustment . I donno if maybe I could somehow fix up a 3rd point on that one in Ebay. Thanks.

I think that your concern would be more valid if it were simply a one-point attachment on each side. The fact that it's two points should eliminate the slop and would also make alignments less of a PITA for your suspension shop than a three-point set-up.
