Volvo 240: Best Aftermarket strut cartridge boot? 200

RWD 240/260 Volvo Folkdom,

So, wot's the best after market strut boot to seal and protect that strut piston and seals from that bad owld road grime and nastiness?

The solid orange de Carbons I have for my fabulous 1990 Volvo 240 DL estate (wagon) I believe include bump stops like the Bilstein HDs.

Whaddya think, please!?!?!?!?!?!?

Hi,

Don't have any experience with any of them but if I were going to purchase I would go with the Moog ones as their stuff is usually high quality.

You might want to check a few other places also. Not sure what the difference is price wise, but I think Rockauto has the Moog ones.

Travis

Uncle Travis,

Thank you.

I was able to get the boots from Tasca at nearly 20$ for the two. These boots came with the front suspension stuff I'll apply to my 1990 Volvo 240 DL (245) in the next few dayze.

The steel washer that slip under the upper lip on these boots was like 6$ for the pair.

Thank you,

Bub.
