weird stalling problems 700

hi all have a 92 740 wagon rex regina ignition 180,000 miles and still a beauty i have a weird stalling problem i cant figure out when shes running its ok its when i stop at a light the rpms drop to almost 0 and it starts to stall then when i go to take off it starts backfiring and wont move till i nail the gas then she will be ok again just started about a week ago but the weird part is it wont do it everyday and the weather has been the same sunny no rain thanks for any suggestions

Frankly it's hard to read your run-on sentence and parse it sufficiently, to see where to start.
Do you have any experience with cars? Do you have any manuals, or have you read the FAQ here? How well do you know your car? Have you done any sort of checking, of say vacuum lines, or intake tube, or electrical connectors? Have you checked the codes? For that matter, do you have a CEL?
