I thought you were crazy at first, but then I watched the ad. Who knows where the market will go...
This says nothing about where the it'll be in a year or two, but I did a little research and came up with the following:
Some similar low-mileage cars on ebay - the range seems to be anywhere from $1500 - $5000.

I'll be curious to see what some of these sell for. These all have lower miles and seem to be in a more sellable condition (fewer things wrong with them, and some of the more expensive ones I believe cater more to folks looking for a "classic vintage" vehicle than a daily driver). The ones I found with more than 90k miles or that stated they didn't run were going for a good deal less.
I also finally found this page, which states that the "Low retail value" or "daily driver" cost for a 1983 2 door sedan is $1425. The upper value is $3175.

The fact that my car is in good working order and has low mileage means someone probably could fix it up and sell it for $3000-5000 today if they wanted to. I could sink $1000 for rust repairs and a full paint, and probably $500 on other misc. repairs, and probably sell it for that (or more in the future).
Curious to hear what others think.
