WINDSCREEN LEAK 444-544

HELP ME!!!!!! PLEASE

My windscreen was leaking on the driver side so i decided to take back to the place that replaced it in 2006. They very kindly tried to seal it with sealant. Guess what, it now leaks from both sides.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? I KNOW ITS THE WINDSCREEN BECAUSE I HAVE SEALED UP ALL THE OTHER APERTURES THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE ALLOWING WATER TO SEEP IN. I AM REALLY DESPERATE.I HATE TO DRIVE THE CAR.

WINDSCREEN LEAK 444-544

Hello,

Did the glass shop install sealant inside the seal between the glass and the seal?

Most shops only put sealant on the outside of the seal.

We used to install windows with rubber seals ourselves, but we found the lack of sealant caused leaks,so we now use a glass shop.

What happens is water wicks around the lower edges of the glass.

Is it possible it is leaking between the gasket and the metal body of the car?
