turbo housing and rebuild kit 200

I need some help finding a crack free exhaust side turbo housing. I have gotten 3 but all are cracked on the inside near the waste gate to varying degrees.

Also I would like to know which turbo rebuild kits you would recommend for a garret T3 turbo from an '82 244 glt with intercooler. This car has been converted to a ChumpCar racer and I need durability and to obviously represent the Volvo brand.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Matt

I suspect this question would be better answered on turbobricks.com, but I happen to know the T3 rather well. Don't worry about the crack at the waste gate, I know it "looks" ugly when you take it apart, but after having put 40+K miles on a cracked housing, still no problem and the crack hasn't gotten bigger or burned out! Your biggest issue will be with the CHRA, the center section that supports the turbine shaft, if there is a lot of slop, just get a rebuilt CHRA from a reputable shop, last time I checked, that ran $200.

I'm running a T3 A/R 60 in 53 trim from a Tbird from the early years, 12PSI boost on a 2000 Eclipse, no complaints, no oil burn... just make sure the oil return tube to the block isn't plugged up, otherwise, you are fogging for mosquitoes!
