Comprehensive List of Overdrive Conversion Parts 1971

I bring questions like this up every now and then. I would like to have a complete list of the parts need to convert a '71 142 E to manual overdrive from automatic. I believe I have the following parts:

* tranny with od
* tranny support
* front driveshaft
* relay
* bellhousing ( with fork)
* pedals ( from a 1973 140)
I know I need a flywheel, clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, cluch cable, switch, dash indicator light, and perhaps the emblem for the rear of the car.
Will the 1973 140 series pedals work for my 1971 car? Am I missing and parts? Thank you all.

Sounds like you have it covered, but off the top of my head...

Companion flange for rear end (may not need depending on driveshaft);
Entire driveshaft with renewed u-joints (yes, you can use just the front section);
164 motor mount for the transmission mount;
Gearbox cover with 4th gear and reverse light contacts;
Long shifter;
Shifter boot;
Clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing;
Renew rear main seal;
Renew gearbox seals;
Rebuild gearbox if necessary;
Bell housing;
Clutch fork (post '70 preferred for strength);
Clutch cable;
Non-latching relay;
Wiring;
Switch;
Pilot light;
Pedal assembly ('67 to '72 only);

That's all I can think of right now.
A '73 pedal assembly will not fit the dashboard of a '71.
You may want to move this to the 140 forum.

Knew I'd forget something...

Flywheel;
Pilot bearing.
