Cat converter - O2 sensor thread size? 700

I got the old cat converter removed, which it turns out did not have an O2 sensor. The replacement Magnaflow direct fit 23949 has an O2 sensor boss, so I need to buy a bolt to block it off. It's about a 3/4" boss but a standard 3/4" bolt thread is too coarse. Anyone happen to know the thread size on the O2 sensor?

    Update - the $3 Toyota oil drain pan bolt was a perfect fit. The converter was by no means a good fit at the downstream end but with a tailpipe expander and some cutting and welding, it went together. The upstream end fitted perfectly to the flange and gasket. It's now ready for the emissions retest.

      I may be doing a cat replacement with same magnaflow part on my 1986 740. Could you explain more why downstream fit was a problem?

        After cutting off the cat converter, it looks like the Magnaflow exit pipe should fit over the pipe that runs to the rest of the exhaust system. It did not. I cut a slot in the Magnaflow pipe and used a tailpipe expander to increase the diameter. After getting it large enough to fit, then used a pipe repair kit from Autozone to clamp both pipes together and seal any possible leaks. The front end of the cat converter fitted perfectly. The front flange system is great and it's a shame the rear does not use the same.

    Eastern Catalytic make a converter for Volvo 740 that has an 18mm O2 sensor boss so I'm going to assume that the Magnaflow boss is the same size. The Home Depot I was at over the weekend had nothing larger than 16mm though.
